I spent my Saturday watching
Too Big To Fail a movie highlighting the 2008 financial crisis. As the title suggests
Too Big Too Fail mainly talks about the theory that some major corporations are so large that if they were to fail it would be disastrous to the entire economy and that they therefore must be bailed out by the government. The movie doesn't fall directly under my Senior Sem project category of "investing" but I believe in order to fully understand the stock market it is crucial to understand any underlying values/scenarios that could have an effect on it. And in this case understanding the importance of the banking sector is crucial if you ever want to invest. I mean most people know that the popping of the housing bubble led to the crisis but does anyone really know why? Anyway it's a little premature to discuss that right now but you can tell I am excited. To be honest I loved the movie and I've already added it to my all time favorite financial movies list. Till next time.
Sincerely,
